This room was several projects all wrapped into one big room makeover. They always say, how do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time. That same logic is what I use on all my big projects. So click the links below to see the full run down of each of the projects I did in here…

Vanity Makeover

The last two things I did to finish up this room was the make up desk, and decorate. Let’s chat about those things now.

The make-up desk

I bought THIS desk, and assembled it according to the instructions. This desk had a weird hole in the back so I filled it with floral foam and flowers. I felt like the wall with this make up desk needed something more. After playing with a few ideas, I landed on something simple, but impactful. I painted an arch on the wall, framing the mirror that I put above the desk. Its very simple to do. Watch this video to see how I did it. I hung THIS mirror, put everything back and it was complete.

Finishing the Princess Room Makeover

The last few things I did to decorate this room were…
I framed and hung a picture I got at Disneyland a long time ago.
Put THIS Beddy’s on the mattress
Printed a few Polaroid photos on my Mini Photo Printer and hung them on the memory board
Got THESE cute Disney princess castle prints, framed, and hung
Replaced the light switch plates.
Hung curtain rods and curtains.
Replaced the light fixture.
and welcomed my girls to their new, beautiful space!

Here are a bunch of links to everything I used in this space. I hope this project gives you inspiration to go make incredible spaces for your loved ones! And stay tuned… It is my boys turn now!
