Breakfast Bliss: The Perfect German Pancakes Recipe

German Pancakes

German Pancakes are a family favorite breakfast around here. We don’t make them often, and when we do, it is usually on the weekends. We love eating it with freshly sliced strawberries, Cool Whip, and powdered sugar. This is also our favorite syrup (we get it at Costco)! My favorite thing about this breakfast, is its simple and not too unhealthy. You can easily substitute the sugar for honey or use your preferred type of milk and flour.

Prep Time 5 minutes
Cook Time 25 minutes
Servings 1 9×13 pan

Ingredients
  

  • 1/4 cup Butter
  • 4 Eggs
  • 2 cups Milk
  • 1 1/4 cups Flour
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 4 tbsp sugar

Instructions
 

  • Pre heat oven to 400 degrees
  • Place 1/4 cup of butter (or half a stick) in a 9×13 pan and place it in the oven to melt.
  • Blend together eggs, milk, flour, vanilla and sugar.
  • Pour egg mixture over the melted butter in the 9×13 pan.
  • Bake in over at 400 degrees for 25-25 minutes
  • Serve immediately with syrup, powdered sugar, or fresh fruit.
