DIY Bedroom Pendant Lamps
I had the hardest time finding bedside lamps that I liked. I was actually changing out these pendant lights from my kitchen and I knew that I would want to repurpose these somewhere else. I ended up using them in my bedroom and I LOVE how they turned out. It was a really quick and easy project. Follow these steps and create your own too!
Supplies needed:
- Pendant Light -I couldn’t link my exact one but here are some that are very similar
- Wall Mount
- Hanging Light kit
- Frosted Glass Spray Paint
Step 1
Frost that glass! This is an optional step. The light was just really bright so I frosted mine to make it less bright. I actually love the way the glass looks frosted though. The spray paint worked really well and was so easy to use.
Step 2
Attach the wall mount to the wall. I chose to put one on both sides of my bed. I just hung it up where I thought was a good fit for my lamps. It was super simple to hang up.
Step 3
Attach the light kit. With the wall mount, it is so easy to thread the cord through. It has spots to hold the cord and it looks so nice and clean.
That’s it! I love DIY projects that don’t take too long to do. This was definitely a quick one and I love the way it looks. We’ve been using these for a few years now and I still love them as much as I did when I made them. Follow me on Instagram for more DIY Projects @spetrichhome
