Bethlehem Banner: The Reason for the Season
Over the years, I’ve made a conscious effort to include religious and spiritual decorations in my home. It’s something I try to do all the time—especially during the Christmas season! This Bethlehem banner is a super-simple craft, but it holds so much meaning. Here’s how you can make your own!

Bethlehem Banner Supplies:
Step #1: Paint the Bethlehem Scene
To find a Bethlehem scene to paint on my banner, I headed to where so many projects start: Pinterest! There are tons of nativity scenes, Bethlehem city outlines, and line drawings that you can purchase and print to trace or to freehand paint. Etsy is also a great place to look!
I kept my Bethlehem banner pretty minimal, because that was the look I was going for. You can let your creativity shine and make your banner as colorful and ornate or as simple as you prefer!
Step #2: Add Accent Decor to Your Bethlehem Banner
My banner needed a little something extra, so I decided to add handmade brass bells and ribbon to complement it. I just tied both to the top of my banner, then hung it all up on the wall. Now, when we look at it throughout this often chaotic-feeling season, we’re reminded of the One it’s all about!
