DIY Hanging Pendant Lights: Easy Upcycle Idea

I had the hardest time finding bedside lamps that I liked. Then, when I was changing out these pendant lights in my kitchen, I knew that I would want to repurpose them somewhere else. I ended up using them in my bedroom, and I LOVE how they turned out. It was a really quick and easy project. Follow these steps and create your own bedroom hanging pendant lights, too!

Hanging Pendant Light Supplies:

Step #1: Frost the Glass

This is an optional step, but I love the look of it! The light was just really bright, so I frosted mine to make it less bright. The spray paint worked really well and was so easy to use.

Step #2: Attach the Wall Mount

Next, attach the wall mount to the wall. I chose to put one on both sides of my bed. It was super simple to hang up—I just put it where I thought was a good fit for my lamps. Nice and easy!

Step #3: Attach the Light Kit

With the wall mount, it is so easy to thread the light kit’s cord through. It has spots to hold the cord, and it looks so nice and clean. I love that these pendants don’t distract from our bedroom’s grid wall—they just look like they belong there!
