Melt-In-Your-Mouth Sugar Cookies

These measurements make a big batch—about 5 to 6 dozen cookies, depending on the size of your cutters. The more, the merrier!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp baking soda
  • 6 ½ cups flour

Instructions
 

  • Cream together wet ingredients (butter, sour cream, sugar, eggs, and vanilla).
  • Mix in dry ingredients (sugar, salt, baking soda, and flour).
  • Chill for one hour.
  • Roll and cut into shapes.
  • Bake at 375° for 8-10 minutes.
